“We have a tremendous amount of experience here that covers multiple administrations, legislatures and Capitol press corps,” said Matt Resch, president and owner. “The media landscape is changing every day, and welcoming a new strategist helps us increase our capacity and stay on top of the game in crafting the most effective messages and tactics for our clients. Anna’s expertise navigating these changes and crafting impactful messaging around complex policy issues is unmatched.”

Having served as press secretary for Gov. Rick Snyder until the end of his term in office, Heaton also worked for the House Majority Caucus from 2011-2015, and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. prior to that role.

For the last three years, Heaton served as vice president of marketing and communications for Business Leaders for Michigan, the state’s business roundtable, where work centers around boosting Michigan’s performance in education, income and equity to make Michigan a “Top Ten” state in the nation.

“We appreciate all the work Anna has done to help make Michigan a Top Ten state, and we look forward to continuing to work together to reach this goal,” said Jeff Donofrio, President and CEO of Business Leaders for Michigan.
